Google Cloud Nameservers, IP Ranges & DNS Settings

Google Cloud is a cloud platform offering cloud infrastructure: Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Storage and Cloud DNS. Here are its IP ranges and ASN, the records that identify it, and a checker to see whether any website is hosted on Google Cloud.

Network data collected September 25, 2026 from Team Cymru, RIPEstat and live DNS.

Google Cloud Nameservers

Google Cloud does not ask customers to move their nameservers. Your domain stays with its current DNS provider, and you point it at Google Cloud with the A, AAAA or CNAME record shown in your Google Cloud dashboard (CNAME targets look like *.appspot.com, ghs.googlehosted.com, *.run.app). Verify the record afterwards with the DNS lookup.

How to Check if a Website Is Hosted on Google Cloud

Enter the domain in the checker at the top of this page. It names Google Cloud when one or more of these signals match, and lists each one as evidence:

  • The site's IP address is inside AS396982 or AS15169, the network Google Cloud announces.
  • The www record is a CNAME to *.appspot.com, ghs.googlehosted.com, *.run.app.
  • The domain uses Google Cloud nameservers (ns-cloud-xN.googledomains.com). This shows where DNS is managed, which is usually but not always the host.
